Development

With our high-tech test equipment, we can carry out tests and verify the products that are produced to ensure that they maintain the quality that we always strive for in all projects.
Prototype
The next step in the process is to produce working samples that are based on the functional requirements the product should be able to handle. The prototype is carefully reviewed and adjusted to ensure that everything works as intended. This is so that production will flow efficiently and to prevent delays and unnecessary costs at a later stage.
Production
In the last step, we make the tools needed to manufacture the product. Close and deeply rooted cooperation with our subcontractors makes it possible for us to ensure high quality and avoid limitations that can arise with external suppliers.
Typically, a preproduction series is made in Västerås in preparation for mass production in Shanghai for the most cost-effective production and distribution solution.

Our motors
Stepper motor
Stepper motor, with their ability to produce high torque at a low speed while minimizing vibration, are ideal for applications requiring quick positioning over a short distance. The main types of stepper motor: Hybrid Stepper Motor and Permanent Magnet Stepper Motor.
DC motor
Stegia offers dc motor with exceptional performance and controllability. Our DC motor are widely used in applications like office machines, ATMs, and industrial equipment.
BLDC motor
BLDC motor or brushless dc motor provides high efficiency, long life, and speed control options. BLDC motor are used in a wide variety of applications, including textile machines, ATM, printer, solar energy equipment, pump, food industry and sorting equipment.
Linear motor
Linear motor in a large selection of models in standard format as well as customized versions. Typical applications for our linear actuators are valve control, ventilation dampers and hydraulic actuators.
Synchronous motor
Synchronous motor in multiple models with different size and speed configuration which also can be configured with a wide range of options like pinions, lead screws and gearboxes. Typical applications for our synchronous motors are valve actuators and ventilation dampers.
Solenoid
Stegia offers a large variety of solenoid types with over 68 independently series in multiple standard and custom made versions. Such as solenoids for push, pull, rotary, swing, pump and actuators applications.
Heat exchanger motor
Stegia Hyperdrive – Heat exchanger motor is a compact solution for operation of rotary heat exchanger. Our Hyperdrive series are offering a full standard program as well as customized solutions.
Damper actuator
Hypergear is the next generation air damper actuator. A patented stepper motor technology solution with outstanding position accuracy. Smart communication Modbus RTU is integrated in the unit, it is also optional to control the units with 0-10VDC.
